Author's Pov

Every year, the world's most influential leaders, billionaires, investors, and innovators gathered for one prestigious event in Geneva,Switzerland

The Global Business & Innovation Summit.

This year's summit promised to be the grandest yet.

Representatives from over fifty countries would attend.

No one knew that fate had chosen this very event to bring four lives together.

__

Inside Kingsley International Corporation...in New York City

Isabella was finishing a board meeting when her assistant entered.

"Ms. Kingsley, an invitation has arrived from the Global Business & Innovation Summit in Geneva."

The room immediately fell silent.

It was one of the most exclusive business events in the world.

Only a handful of CEOs received personal invitations.

Isabella accepted the elegant black envelope.

"You've been invited as the keynote speaker for the opening session," the assistant added.

The directors applauded.

"You deserve it, Ms. Kingsley."

Isabella smiled humbly.

"Thank you. Let's make sure we represent our company well."

As the meeting ended, Sophia entered with Isabella's schedule.

"Looks like we're going to Switzerland."

Sophia's eyes widened.

"Really?"

Isabella nodded with a smile.

"And you'll be coming with me."

Sophia almost squealed with excitement.

"I've never been to Geneva!"

Isabella laughed.

"I had a feeling you'd say that."

Meanwhile..... in Milan, Italy

At De Luca Global Holdings...

Leonardo calmly read the same invitation.

His father looked pleased.

"The summit will have the world's biggest investors."

Leonardo nodded.

"I'll attend."

Valentina leaned over his shoulder.

"I heard Kingsley International will be there too."

Leonardo looked up.

"The American company?"

"Yes."

"They're making headlines everywhere."

Leonardo closed the invitation thoughtfully.

"Interesting."

Unknown to him...

The woman leading that company would soon change his life forever.

__

At Interpol Headquarters...London, United Kingdom

Ethan had just finished a briefing when his director called him into the office.

"We've received intelligence that several international criminal organizations may use the Geneva summit as cover for secret meetings."

Ethan listened carefully.

"I want you to lead the security coordination with Swiss authorities."

"When do we leave?"

"In three days."

Ethan nodded without hesitation.

"We'll be ready."

As he walked out, one of his colleagues smiled.

"Looks like you're getting a business trip."

Ethan replied calmly,

"It's work, not a vacation."

His colleagues laughed.

Some things never changed.

__

In Oxford, England

Sophia spent the evening packing for the trip.

Her mother folded another dress into the suitcase.

"You'll finally get to see Switzerland."

"I know!"

Grace smiled mischievously.

"And who knows..."

Sophia looked suspiciously at her mother.

"What?"

"You might even meet that handsome businessman you keep reading about."

"Mum!"

Sophia covered her face as everyone laughed.

Oliver couldn't resist teasing.

"If you meet Leonardo De Luca, ask him for an autograph."

Sophia threw a cushion at him.

"I am not asking anyone for an autograph."

Deep inside...

She secretly wondered what meeting him would actually be like.

Late That Night

Across three different countries...

Four people stood by their windows.

Ethan looked over London's glittering skyline.

Another mission awaited him.

Isabella watched New York's lights with quiet determination.

Another opportunity to expand her company's future.

Leonardo gazed at Milan beneath the stars.

Another business summit.

Another routine event.

Sophia stared at her passport, unable to contain her excitement.

Another adventure

__

The warm evening breeze drifted across the balcony of "Leonardo De Luca's" penthouse.

Dressed in a casual black shirt, Leonardo poured himself a cup of espresso while gazing at the glittering Milan skyline.

His phone vibrated.

"Ethan Carter" Calling...

A rare smile appeared on Leonardo's face.

He answered immediately.

"About time you remembered your best friend."

Ethan chuckled from the other end.

"I've been busy catching criminals."

"And I've been busy making money."

"Legally, I hope."

Leonardo smirked.

"Of course."

If only Ethan knew how much truth and deception that single answer carried.

"So," Leonardo continued, "I heard you're coming to Geneva."

Ethan leaned back in his office chair in London.

"Work assignment."

"I expected that."

"And you?"

"Business summit."

There was a brief silence before Ethan spoke again.

"It's been almost six months since we last met."

Leonardo nodded.

"Too long."

"We should have dinner after the summit."

"Already made a reservation."

Ethan laughed.

"You haven't changed."

"Neither have you."

The two friends shared a comfortable silence.

Years of friendship had taught them that words weren't always necessary.

Finally, Ethan broke the silence.

"I've been reading about Kingsley International."

"The American company?" Leonardo asked.

"Yes."

"Their CEO, Isabella Kingsley, is delivering the keynote speech."

"I've heard she's one of the youngest billionaires in the corporate world."

Leonardo nodded thoughtfully.

"She's impressive. The business world speaks highly of her."

Ethan smiled faintly.

"Maybe we'll finally meet this famous CEO."

"Perhaps."

Neither of them realized how significant that meeting would become.

Leonardo changed the subject.

"Any chance you'll actually relax while you're there?"

"You know me."

"I do."

"You'll probably spend the whole summit watching security cameras."

"And you'll spend the whole summit closing billion-dollar deals."

Leonardo laughed softly.

"Guilty."

Ethan shook his head with a smile.

"I still don't understand how we became best friends."

Leonardo's expression softened.

"Because when everyone else judged me, you didn't."

A quiet silence followed.

Some friendships weren't built on similarities.

They were built on unwavering trust.

Ethan spoke gently.

"No matter how busy life gets..."

Leonardo finished the sentence.

"...we'r

e still brothers."

"Always."

"Always."

Neither of them knew...

Within a few days, Geneva would test that promise like never before.

The friendship that had survived childhood, distance, and different careers...

Was about to face the greatest challenge of its existence.
